Over deze Rolex

The Rolex Submariner ref 16800 was produced from 1979 til 1988 it is the first Submariner fitted with a sapphire crystal. In the beginning these models were produced with the now very collectible matte dial (like the 1680) from +-1985 and onward these models where only made with the glossy dial with razed white gold hourmarkers (like the modern Submariners).

This watch is a great daily wearable vintage piece with on the one hand the convenience of the sapphire crystal and on the other hand the vintage charm of the matte dial.

The MK3 dial and hands are original/untouched the tritium is clean and intact.

Original date disk (open 6, 9, 16, 19, 26).

Comes with it's original 93150 bracelet and 593 endlinks, the clasp is stamped G (meaning it is from +-1982).

Serial number 724XXX +-1982.

These transitional models are becoming increasingly harder and harder to find because of the collectibility, small amount of production numbers in a short production period.
